Getting started
Who is this for?
Students in cyber, IT, computer science. Self-learners welcome. Teachers can run a class. Clubs can organise their members. Anyone curious about cyber gets the same starter pack.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Tier 0 starts from "what's a shell". If you already know your way around, jump straight to Tier 1 or 2.
What do I need to install?
Nothing. The platform is browser-only today. The labs that will require a VPN are on the roadmap, not live.
Gems & pricing
What are gems?
An in-platform currency. You get 50 on signup, earn more by completing courses, spend them on Tier 1+ courses. Tier 0 is always free.
Can I buy gems with a card?
Not yet. Card top-up is on the roadmap. For now, the model is fully play-to-earn.
Do gems or unlocks expire?
No. Earned gems stay. Once you unlock a course, you keep access.
Is there a refund if I unlock a course by mistake?
Right now, no. Be sure before clicking. The confirm dialog shows you the cost and your post-purchase balance.
Courses & paths
How long does a course take?
Tier 0: 45 min to 2h. Tier 1: 2-3h. Tier 2: 3-4h. Tier 3: 6-8h. Tier 4: 10-12h.
How do learning paths work?
A path is an ordered sequence of courses. Complete every course in it, the path itself completes automatically. A badge attaches to your profile.
Can I jump to a higher tier without doing Tier 0?
Yes. The platform doesn't gate by tier. But you'll likely struggle without the bedrock.
Clubs & classes
What's the difference between a club and a class?
Club = student association with admin/member roles, public-ish. Class = teacher-run group with one owner and per-student progress tracking, private URLs.
How do I create one?
Sign in, sidebar → My clubs or Classes, hit "New". Both are free.
How do I join one?
Get a link from the club admin or your teacher. Click while signed in. You're added immediately.
Can a teacher pay gems for the whole class?
Not yet. Each student has their own gem wallet. Institutional gem grants are planned alongside the paid top-up.
Labs & CTFs (roadmap)
Are labs and CTFs live?
No, both are on the roadmap. The course platform is live and covers the same conceptual ground in the meantime.
When will they ship?
No firm date. Labs depend on isolated-VM infrastructure, which is non-trivial. CTFs ride on the same infra.
Technical
What browsers are supported?
Chromium-based (Chrome, Edge, Brave), Firefox, Safari. Anything modern from the last two years.
Does it work on phones?
The course reader does. Some admin and class detail pages are designed desktop-first, but mobile is usable.
