There is no monthly fee. You spend an in-platform currency called gems to unlock paid courses. You earn gems by completing the free ones. Tier 0 is always free.

Yes, the model is unusual on purpose.

Why gems instead of just charging money?

Because most students don't have a credit card. The gems system means a motivated student can reach every Tier 4 course without ever paying, as long as they put in the work.

Can I just buy gems?

Not yet. Card top-up is on the roadmap. The current flow is fully play-to-earn.

Do gems expire?

No. Once earned, they stay. Once spent on a course, the access stays too.

How much can I earn from one free course?

The exact reward depends on the course. The 4 free Tier 0 modules together give you enough to comfortably afford a few Tier 1 unlocks.

Can my school pay gems for a whole class?

Not directly, since gems are per-account. Once top-up ships, an institutional credit grant is on the table. Email us if you want to be in the pilot.
